MORE Gloomy Forest Maps by Motojoto - Large Preview

From Motojoto:

“I feel a large portion of an average DND game is taken up by travel time, and while you can just have your players arrive where they want to go with no issues, I fondly remember the random encounters my gm’s have thrown my way.

To that end I have created two travel encounters for a game I’m running set in a valley where the sun never rises.

A Hunter’s tower littered with traps giving players a chance to show off their combat skills as well as maybe learn a thing or two about the region should they spare its frightened inhabitant.
And a moonlit bridge spanning a rivers length, being the perfect place for a party to meet an odd character or to be ambushed by a winged foe.”

Kudos to Motojoto for sharing their creations with all of us! Echoing what they said, you can never have enough battle maps for random encounters on the road. Until your party is flying or teleporting to-and-fro, they’re gonna be hoofin’ it like the rest of us.
