“Old cackling crones and wizened hags are a staple enemy of any horror game, to that end I’ve constructed a home for one in my current campaign though at the moment she doesn’t appear to be home. It does appear however that she has left a few cursed individuals behind to watch over her things while she’s away.

Starting in the back yard is a father, turned pony, who wished that his daughter would be happier to see him. Inside the ruined home nestled amongst the embers of the hearth is a cowardly man transformed into a living flame so afraid of the dark that he asked the hag to make it so that he’d never be stuck alone without a light.

Down the stairs that the living flame guards and in some sort of showroom sits a woman atop a gathering of bones who wished to stand on a pile of her defeated foes. Next to her a musician is forced to eternally play on a violin after wishing to have their music echo on for all time. Across the cavern is a hawk in a nest surrounded by discarded clothes who in actuality was a hunter who wanted to have the eyes of a hawk to better find his prey. And the final sufferer of the old hags attempt to “help” others is a gilded mirror with a man forced to forever stare at his own reflection after wishing to no longer have to watch his own back in fear of others.”
