Today, we’re featuring a vibrant 32×32 river scene created by the talented and frequently showcased Uchideshi! I can spot assets from at least ten different packs here, all mixed together into a delicious map-smoothie. My favorite element is the tangle of roots on the north-western bank cleverly repurposed from our Mana Tree Pack.

“I hadn’t made a map in a while and fancied making something simple & quick. I love bright, external maps with lots of greenery and water and wanted to do something with that feel. I went with the same jungle theme as my previous Xibalba inspired map so I didn’t have to spend too much time making decisions about which assets to use. All this meant I ended up going for a simple jungle river map although I did add a statue in there just to give it a little something extra. The overgrown statues in the Statues pack are just lovely and I keep meaning to make a map where they feature more strongly just haven’t worked out what yet.”
