  • Ice Temple Dungeon by Cora

Bundle up, adventurers – we’ve got a frosty set of maps for you today, created by the talented Cora!
This three-part dungeon guides your players through a snowy temple entrance, into a series of icy chambers, and finally to a thematic, snowflake-shaped boss room where a chilling final battle awaits.

Cora’s consistent wintry theme really tickles the Zelda fan in me, and I love the idea of dungeon architects weaving images into their floor plans. Below, Cora shares their inspiration and how they envisioned the map in use – but we want to hear your ideas too! What kind of boss fight would you stage in this frozen finale? Share your ideas in the comments at the bottom. 🙂

From Cora:

“This map series is the climactic finale of a long journey to the South Pole, seeking the mysterious rumoured Ice Temple forgotten by time, however, it seems the heroes were beaten there by the fire navy! Within, deadly traps and riddles bar the way. Battle the icy monsters within, and come face to face with the avatar of the Ice Spirit in his throne room!

To make these maps I mainly used the new Dungeon Map Tiles, the Snowy Winter Assets and the Winter Wilderness assets.”
