  • The CLOCKWORK CONSTRUCTION Battle Map

The inner workings of an ancient clockwork machine.

Rooty’s latest masterpiece consists of a 26×16 confusion of cogs, gears, and other gizmos: the interior of a monolithic clock that could only exist in high-steampunk-fantasy.

Backdropped by a buzz of machinery, the map features a narrow walkway from one side to the other that incorporates the great gears into its route. Whether these are moving dangerously or rusted to a halt is up to you!

This is a scene that is sure to make an impact on your players, if you can only devise a way to put it before them… What sort of encounter do you imagine, GM? (And what might the consequence be should they fall into the machinery below??) Let us know in the comments section!
