  • The Underwater Cavern by GrubbySheeps

GrubbySheeps has taken the fungi from our Forest Fungi Map Assets and crafted a stunning spelunking playground! The beauty stands in stark contrast to the potential horrors that lurk within… With her permission, we’re happy to share these maps for free – links below!

The Underwater Cavern offers three battle maps that encompass your players’ journey through the chillingly damp caves. Explore the cavern mouth, navigate the central chamber, and uncover the secrets of a creepy temple… what dark rituals transpired there is for you to decide!

A huge thanks again to GrubbySheeps for being such a fantastic part of our community! Head over to her Twitter, @GrubbySheeps to see what else she is up to!

From GrubbySheeps:

“When I made these maps to start my current campaign “Bounded by Blood and Water”, I was heavily inspired by the beauty (and horrors) caverns contain. So I thought it would be the perfect diversion for my players to begin their descent into a eldritch horror territory. Their first task was to delve into an underwater cavern to retrieve a relic but what they didn’t expect was to find an entire ecosystem.

From Corals, emitting colorful hues of oranges, purples, blues and greens. To Kelp and seaweed brushing against the surface of the water with every little ripple while schools of sea critters swim carelessly.

Who knows what lies in these tucked in caverns, or what secrets the deep ocean keeps.”

I help Ross with a chunk of the background work so he has more time for the part he loves, the artwork! When I'm not doing that, I'm working on my own maps & articles to assist you in your worldbuilding. :)
