  • Shattered Islands of the Greater Tree by GhostQuartzGrey

We are pleased to highlight GhostQuartzGrey’s recent map: a collection of shattered astral islands arrayed on a sizable 30×60 grid. A magical tree seems to be responsible for keeping these islands afloat. What might happen if it were besieged by astral termites..?

From GhostQuartzGrey:

“Atop shattered lands held together by twisting roots, a noble paladin swears an oath of devotion to the world tree: greater responsibility for greater power.”

“—The explanation is that Yggdrasil exists as a sort of outer god, a deity with all of the power but none of the mortal connection, that is the binding glue of the multiverse.”
