Do you find yourself searching for a scene that oozes dread and despair? Look no further! Tobias has crafted a chilling ‘Shadowfell Ruins’ battle map that perfectly captures the mood.

It is 32×22 in dimensions and features scattered ruins, a crossroad, and a central, dead tree. All of which is draped under a thick blanket of darkness.

The Ruins cleverly incorporate elements from our Monastery Ruins pack, like the iconic gnarled dead tree and pre-made ruins, and adds a sinister touch with skulls and bones from Blood & Bodies. You can grab these too if you like – they’re in the Downloads section below!

From Tobias:

“In one of the campaigns I’m running the party is investigating corruption in a city that is (unbeknownst to them) being influenced by Shar through a connection to the Shadowfell. If the players choose to confront the cult of Shar, there is a good chance that the head priest will attempt to banish them to the Shadowfell. This map was made in anticipation of that event.

It depicts a dark mirror version of the city that the party is familiar with, overrun by ghouls and other undead. To get back to the prime material plane, they will have to defeat a sorrowsworn guarding the only nearby portal.”
