The industrious Codlarr has generously shared three new maps with us today! We have a three-level steampunk factory and a vast city park.
The Steampunk Factory map covers a 46×26 space and features three buildings and a yard enclosed by a fence. The interiors house a production line, a very steampunk-y distillery, and a storehouse. There’s even a small office for the overseer and a very ̴n̵o̷r̵m̸a̶l̶ ̶b̷a̶s̶e̶m̷̰͍͔̉̋̑͜ͅe̶̤͔͇̔̏͝͝ͅn̷̲̲̐̆͐̌t̷̞͇̞̔̚̚.̵̳̘̙̼̱͂͋.̴
From Codlarr:
“I had the encounter for this session partially planned out when I started the map, so I knew I wanted a lot of open space, and I wanted a few trees for my Blighted Dryads to teleport between.
The plan was to keep the party split-up, chasing the Dryads from tree to tree, while they tried to charm the players with low Wisdom saves.
I had just sent my players to an apple orchard the month before, so I didn’t want to make another farm, and I wanted to experiment with round shapes and floor decoration to break up the vast expanse of grass. So, a city park seemed like a great fit.
I also have been itching for a reason to use the new statue assets to build something, so I added a dragon fountain as the main centerpiece, which ended up saving the wizard’s life! (he needed to take cover from the charmed gunslinger)”
