Today we’re once again spotlighting the talents of T0xicfr0g, this time with a Dungeon Meshi–inspired campaign! Grab your frying pans and prepare to venture into the lush, plant-filled depths of this delicious (in) dungeon.
The download includes three different zones, each 40×30. Tell me, what would your edible enemy of choice be in this dungeon, and what delicious dish would you whip up with it? See you in the comments below!
From T0xicfr0g:
“These are some quick maps I made for my recent session; We’re doing a Dungeon Meshi-inspired campaign where the players are Dungeon Dashers who deliver and fix various parts of the dungeon.
Party was tasked with delivering paint to a druid in the dungeon. Druid works in the dungeon and grows poisonous puff balls and carnivorous plants for it. Druid was painting a Treant that prior adventurers had wrapped in rope and string lights. Druid was pretending to be a cat to get the delivery cheaper- players had to figure this out. I had a bunch of interactable fauna on this map- Etter caps casting webs onto the statue; catching the flies coming off the statue’s now rotten offerings, faerie dragons gliding around pollinating/ spreading the spores of the mushrooms. A little colony of Myconoids decomposing some fallen logs. The treant was stationary because it was watching over it’s sapling.” …

… “Other map is an ambush set up by some roguish adventurers. The dungeon opens up into the forest, there’s a cliff. At the base of the cliff is a malformed room that’s really just an 8ft pit. (In my setting Eberron’s Daelkyr make dungeons for fun – occasionally, there are backroom glitches within the dungeon.) The pit room had some intact treasure chests, as bait. Most of the furniture in the dungeon has been destroyed by prior adventurers- to eliminate mimics. Finding chest respawns are very rare- they’re usually mimics.
The adventurers had a camp with a little bit of loot.
The door inlaid into the cliff used to have a puzzle but it had been painted landlord white long ago; seems the ambushers here were trying to brute force it.
I also had a mimic on this map that was clearly a mimic because it was a fancy table. It was set out in the middle of the grassy field admiring a statue that it thought was another mimic.”
