Welcome to our latest battle map, the Closet. This map has been stewing in our minds for a long time, but it always seemed like an idea too complex to squeeze into a single month of work. Well, what if we just worked at it bit by bit and released it when it was ready? That turned out to be the perfect solution.
I have lost track of precisely how many hours we have poured into Closet, but I am simply glad to finally release it. In many ways this is our best map yet, and one by which I plan to compare every new map going forward. It’s also our largest! Never before have we released a 33×45 map.
Closet’s dangers are innumerable… The dust threatens to choke the unprepared asthmatic, and its four close walls can stop the heart of a claustrophobic all by themselves. Do you dare add monsters to the mix? We’d love to hear what comes to your mind if so!

I now plan to write a 5.5-page kickstarted supplement of rules on how to handle multiple characters in a small, enclosed space when they cannot all occupy the square. The text is currently 99% not done, but, hopefully with the help of some backers, I plan to take roleplaying to the third dimension!!! All because of you beautiful map giving me the right kind of Inspiration(TM).

this is truly a one of a kind battle map. the details are absolutely astounding, the small hidden gems are mind blowing, and that twist! well I never saw it coming. m night shaman would be proud. I could totally see myself living here.
