  • The Mimic’s Grid Kickstarter

“It looks like a simple square grid-map for your table, right? Looks can be deceiving. The Mimic’s Grid is a versatile game surface that enables infinite world building through unique features and modular construction.”

I have been collaborating with the Cursed Crypt team to start the Mimic’s Grid Kickstarter, which I can finally share it with you all.

I’ll leave the talking to the Kickstarter page but in short, Mimic’s Grid is an “any-erase, no-stain, magnetic game tile.” If all goes well with the Kickstarter I hope to craft a huge collection of magnetic tiles, textures and props utilizing these magical magnets. If that sounds like something you want to see, please consider making a pledge!

You can do so and read all about the Mimic’s Grid on the Kickstarter page. Enjoy:

  1. G'Day Ross.
I made the tiny model of your amazing Japaese castle.
I backed and paid a wadge to Cursed Crypt for mimmics grid and magnet buildings.

Have you any idea what is happening with them?
I have been more than patient and want my grids and magnets.

Have you any news or ideas?

    1. Hi again Jenni! I’m afraid I haven’t been in contact with Cursed Crypt since shortly after the Kickstarter in 2019. Perhaps you can reach them on Twitter? I imagine the shipping and supply delays are to blame, like some of the Kickstarters I’ve supported myself in the last two years. Hope that they get to you soon though! Wish I could help more.
