  • The Shattered Stronghold Battle Map

A stone fortress, broken and set adrift on a cosmic sea.

Vladir Winters and I (Ross McConnell) have teamed up to bring you part 3/4 of our ‘Shattered’ map series: a stronghold broken up into tactically-interesting islands! As always, these maps are designed to work alone or as a group.

This quadrant is 22×16 and set in the Astral Sea. Who built it, and for what purpose? Why is it now found in this sorry state? I like to think of it as a headquarters for a long-gone adventuring crew. You need some good, stone walls to survive long amidst these stars…

What sort of encounter comes to your mind, for this map or its larger 4-part version? We’d love to hear your ideas in the comments! And keep your eyes peeled for Part 4. 🙂
