A village of mushroom-dwelling folk pass their days in a secluded wood.
This strange village is Rootyful‘s latest creation, featuring homes of living fungi growing on the shores of a sparkling pond.
These mushrooms grow on a 43×29 canvas broken up by fences, water, and bridges between several small islands. On each island stands at least one house-sized shroom, some with visible doorways. And, in the nighttime, the fireflies come out to make the whole scene even more fairy-tale…
Who dwells here, in your mind? Advanced mycanoids? Gnomes with particularly green thumbs (and blue skin, perhaps)? A community of awakened forest creatures? We’d love to hear what you come up with, so please share your game notes in the comments. 🙂
