  • A Mysterious Portal in the Mangroves

Legends tell of a pit in the middle of the mangroves which calls sleepwalkers to leap into its darkness, where they disappear without a sound… Perhaps the party can determine its mystery?

Mysterious Mangrove Portal Battle Map – Banner Preview

I’m sticking to spooky, ominous maps for October, and this is my latest installment. A towering tree’s gnarled roots have twisted into a strange tunnel. Where does it lead?

Why, wherever you need! It might be a swamp druid’s entrance to the Underdark, a gateway made by an incursion of extraplanars, or a Deku-tree-esque creature that oversees an ancient portal network.

Let’s collaborate and turn the comment section into a grand collection of weird tree portal ideas!
