Our new tavern map is stout like its dwarven proprietors, and crammed with sturdy furniture around a central hearth. In the back are four modest rooms for rent.

A building of this size feels to me like an isolated waystation on a long road through the wilderness, with thick doors and barred windows to keep out the beasties. Travellers with coin to spare can rest easy behind thick stone walls, and others might crowd in tents around it for the safety of numbers.

Of course, you are welcome to plant this tavern wherever it is needed in your world! It might be the drinking hole for quarry workers, a hole-in-the-wall bar somewhere in a city, or an underground HQ for a small thieve’s guild.
