I’ve long wanted to show off some of my 2.5-D stuff, and today I set the time aside that I needed to record the construction process.

I’ll admit, it’s all pretty commons sense, but I wanted to also share a few tips. For instance, I find that the cardboard adds weight to the otherwise fluttery paper, and helps communicate elevation. You might try laminating the layers instead, and/or installing magnets so the layers snap together nicely.

If you have other ideas for constructing these maps, leave a comment!
