The SHIP GRAVEYARD Battle Map

A sandy beach littered with shipwrecks and scattered cargo.

This map was born out of a single idea: waves going in and out as the rounds go by. And how could I make such a beach interesting? Why, rocks and shipwrecks of course!

Ship Graveyard - Day - Low Water - 44x32

The result is my 44×32 battle map with a ‘low’ and ‘high water’ variants. As the water comes in, it floods all but the tallest rocks and wrecks. Those who brave the sea will find crates, barrels, and chests as their reward, and who knows what manner of valuables these ships were transporting?

Now, what monsters shall we mix in? That’s up to you, but I’d highly recommend my brother’s colossal crab & sahuagin friends encounter: Crushed Atop the Cliffs if you’re after something unforgettable!
