The highland ranch of a self-sufficient hill dwarf.
I drew the Dwarven Burrow with a certain setting in my imagination, and this month was excited to draw it! This is the home of our hill dwarf: a comfortable burrow surrounded by a low, stone wall in a lush valley.
As you well know, stone circles ward off spirits and other undead. For this reason the dwarves have traditionally built the shape into their architecture at every opportunity. With this simple rule, a humble wall becomes a surprisingly effective defense!
How might this map combo fit into your world? After all, you can put anything you like on this hill. Perhaps a wizard’s tower? A witch’s hut? A hunter’s lodge? I’d love to hear your ideas below!
