An out of the way, waterfall-fed pool, a favorite place for weddings and occult summonings.

Tranquil Waterfall Battle Map (Banner)

This map served as a painterly study in rocks, but I think the new brush I found for bushes stole the show. I painted 90% of it on my flights home from Japan, reminiscing on the hike we took to Nunobiki falls outside of Kobe. There’s nothing like immersing yourself in a real place and imagining all the ways that fantasy heroes and villains could do battle there!

Perhaps these falls are the site of an occult summoning, like I described in the flavor text. Alternatively, I think the pool makes for a great place to drop a chaotically-teleported party, surprising a handful of monsters around the edge. Let me know of your ideas in the comments!
