Six famous tank models from the Great War.

This month we teamed up and revisited the First World War. Up until now the WW1 Trench Map Assets was the only pack explicitly from the period, and what is the obvious addition? Tanks!

I want to thank our friend Christopher for his help in the research phase. I was really out of my depth, and he helped me hone in on the selection of tanks I’m sharing today.

What is that selection? The…

  • Mark IV Tank
  • A7V Tank
  • Renault FT 17 Tank
  • Whippet Tank
  • Schneider CA1 Tank
  • Tsar Tank

Each one is drawn to-scale according to the best information I could find. History buffs, please educate me if and where I went wrong! 😉

Not planning on running a WW1 campaign any time soon? I hope you’ll still find a way to use these! Perhaps in some kind of time-slip scenario, as the nefarious invention of a BBEG, or as an ancient relic buried deep underground…

Do you have any ideas for these? Please inspire us by sharing them in the comments! These were great fun to make, but nothing’s better than hearing how they’ll be used. 🙂
