Urban battle maps are something we still have precious few of, so we are always happy to spotlight one – especially when it is as big and beautiful as this one by Uchideshi!
The battle map clocks in at 40×34 and makes great use of our Marketplace Map Assets and other asset packs we’ve listed below in the Downloads section. It features wide, cobbled streets encircling a large tree, with rooftops framing a number of eclectic market stalls.

From Uchideshi:
“I was playing in a regular D&D game and my DM (who is a little less particular about maps than I am) pulled up a market square battlemap from the internet that while perfectly serviceable for gameplay was a bit limited aesthetically. After the session, I thought I could probably throw the new Marketplace assets into a similar market square structure and in the general style of the Medieval City maps to create something useful but that looked a bit nicer. It was really quick and fun to do with all the lovely 2MTT assets and this map is the result – I’m already plotting how I will use it in my own campaign. I’ll probably set it on fire…”
