upper floor has gabled roofing. Ground floor has a lazy slant of roofing that wraps around and extends to make an awning over the entrance.
crisp snow’s been crushed beneath boots going to and from the front door. orange light glows from the windows at night, casts long blotted shadows behind the spruces huddled around the tavern. the shadows stretch toward the distant moon which wears a winter halo“
