About 2-Minute Tabletop
2-Minute Tabletop (abbreviated as 2MT) is a living collection of maps, tokens, and articles hand-made by a small team of human artists. We want to make our community’s tabletop gaming easy to prep and charming to look at!
It was founded in October 2015 by Ross McConnell, based near Perth in Western Australia. Current day 2-Minute Tabletop is composed of 10-15 regular artists, writers, developers, and other team members spread across the globe.
We release something new every week, all of it made possible by our generous patrons and those who have supported us through purchases on this website over the years. We couldn’t be more grateful to be doing what we’re doing!
Our Products
We create all sorts of digital resources designed for game masters of tabletop role-playing games, all of which can be sorted under the following headings. Take a peek at our home page for a visual guide to everything we make!
Maps
From the beginning we have been building a Gallery of hand-drawn maps designed for exploration and combat, covering all manner of genres.
Most of our library can be tried out for free with our Pay What You Want business model!
Map-Making Assets
We also publish asset packs to our Gallery that allow GMs to create custom maps. These assets include ground textures, structures, and objects – all images with a top-down perspective.
Token Art
Our enormous token art collection is designed from the ground up to be customized in our home-made Token Editor. We have over 8,000 various heroes, villains, and other creatures released.
Written Resources
Finally, we enjoy tying maps and tokens together into pre-written modules, adventures of all sizes, and other written resources for GMs and players of D&D and other TTRPGs.
